Just a quickie.
Can everyone pray for China and Burma and all the people suffering in thise countries. Pray for all the relief workers who are on the scene delivering the care that is so desperately needed. Thank you Lord for opening the borders of Burma to the aid workers. Pray also for our Muslim cousins in our community during this difficult time in our region following the bomb in Exeter. Pray for all the young people in the village during the half term. I ask that it be a positive time for them all and that in some way they come into contact with your love and compassion. I pray for those friends who are travelling on holidays or day trips during the half term. Keep them safe Lord may they all have a great time and feel fully refreshed by the break.
I lift to you Lord those friends who are not having such a great time at the moment, those who are sad, feeling lost or bereft,those who we know are hurting, angry or just confused. Father, I ask for Your peace, Your love and Your grace to fall on each of them over the coming week. Let them know just how special and loved they are. I ask this all in the name of your son Jesus.

Hi there everyone,
I need to ask you all to pray for a friend of mine from work. His name is Ian and his family are aware that I am asking for prayer for him.
Ian is one of those people who always go the extra mile for his patients and colleagues. He is a really caring person who always has a good word for everyone. He has been complaining of a sore neck for a while and this was being looked into but last week he collapsed suddenly totally paralysed. He has an infected abscess on his spine which has caused serious damage. Unfortunately this abscess is right at the top of his neck spine and has left this active and fit man with a quadraplegia with no movement and unable to breathe for himself. He is currently in ICU being ventilated and there has been no improvement or progress. Gods creative healing power is realistically his only hope at this point. Please remember Ian and his family in your prayers.

JUST A QUICK UPDATE ON MY FRIEND IAN.
HIS PROGRESS SINCE THE BEGINNING OF JULY HAS BEEN GOOD, HE BEGAN MOVING ONE OF HIS SHOULDERS AFTER WE BEGAN PRAYING FOR HIM AND HAS CONTINUED TO IMPROVE TO THE POINT THAT HE IS NOW ONLY ON THE VENTILATOR FOR SHORT PERIODS, HE IS CONSCIOUS AND COMMUNICATING (MOSTLY RUDE JOKES!) AND HAS SOME LIMITED MOVEMENTS IN BOTH ARMS. HE IS GOING OFF TO A REHABILITATION UNIT ASAP. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND I THANK THE FATHER FOR THE WORK THAT HE HAS DONE AND IS CONTINUING TO DO FOR IAN
Whilst at New Wine Georgie and I met a friend who has asked for prayer for her brother. This young man (also called Ian) is in a London hospital with an abnormal heart rhythm that needs treatment. He has accepted the Lord into his life as a teenager i believe but has not really begun any meaningful relationship with Jesus. So could we all please remember this Ian in our prayers. Can we pray for healing for his heart and for his heart to be openned to the Fathers love through a closer relationship with Jesus.
